10th International CP Football Tournament now features two Catalonia teams and Tunisia

Yesterday, organizers of the 10th International CP Football Tournament announced a schedule change for the event, with Ghana and Nigeria replaced on the program by a second team from Catalonia.  The competition will now feature three teams, the two Catalonia teams and a team from Tunisia.

The new schedule sees the competition getting underway tomorrow, with Catalonia A playing Tunisia at 4:00 PM local time in Barcelona. On Sunday, Catalonia B plays Catalonia A at 12:00 local time, with the last match taking place at 6:15 PM local time between Catalonia B and Tunisia.

This will not be the first time Tunisia’s men have participated in this event. Last year, Tunisia participated in it, where they finished last, behind England, the United States, and Portugal. The sport of 7-a-side football is still developing in the country. In December of 2013, the Tunisian Paralympic Committee organized a 7-a-side coaching and classification course.
