2015 Singapore hosted Asean Para Games to have four new sports: Badminton, sailing, shooting and bowling

The organizers of the 2015 Asean Para Games have announced today that their games will have the most ever, with fifteen sports on the program, up from 12 at last year’s Games. Badminton, sailing, shooting and bowling have been added while sitting volleyball has been removed.



The other sports scheduled to be on the program include are archery, athletics, boccia, chess, 5-a-side football, 7-a-side football, goalball, powerlifting, swimming, table tennis and wheelchair basketball. 


The announcement was made at a ceremony where Singaporean national team boccia player Nurul Taha served as the Master of Ceremonies.


Marina Bay Sands will play host to the athlete village, with the Games officially kicking off on December 3 and concluding on December 9.
