Anna Beninati falls and out of skiing for a week

While training on a NASTAR course earlier today, Anna Beninati had a fall that resulted in some mild damage to her ribs, though  an  x-ray was inconclusive. The accident takes her off the snow for a week.



Beninati has been skiing very well this season.  Earlier in the month, she won a silver in at the 2015 IPCAS Level Winter Park in women’s sit ski. Beninati  started off the season with a medal in the women’s sitting giant slalom at a competition in Panorama, British Colombia, Canada.


Beninati is based out of Park City, Utah for training.  She is a bilateral above-knee amputee.  When not competing, she works as an adaptive ski instructor in Snowbird.
