Argentina warms up ahead of game against Colombia at 2015 IWBF Women’s South America Qualification Tournament

A little bit ago, the Argentina women’s national wheelchair basketball team finished their practice session ahead of this evening’s game against Colombia at the 2015 IWBF Women’s South America Qualification Tournament in Cali, Colombia.  The team had visitors at their practice from the Liceo Los Andes.

`

 

Argentina needs to win the game in guarantee their qualification for the Para Panamerican Games, as the top three teams book tickets to Toronto.  Argnetina lost 15 – 47 earlier to Brazil, and beat Peru 46 – 30 in their two earlier matches.

The Argentina team includes María Castaldi, Alejandra Alonso, María Chirinos, Monica Chazarreta, María Coronel, Silvia Linari, Mariana Capdeville, Julieta Olmedo, María Pallares, Mariana Perez, Adriana Motura, Marcela Birck.  They are coached by Carlos Cardarlli.

The Colombian roster includes Evelin Serna, Magda Victoria, Rusmalia Sepulveda, Luz Muñoz, Johan Moreno, Gloria Morales, Yolanda Montero, Luisa Martínez, Sandra Henao, Marley Gutierrez, Gladys Gomez and Luz Cortez.
