Argentinian men winning at basketball at the South American Deaf Games

As of last night in Caxias do Sul, Brazil with several games having been played at the South American Deaf Games in men’s basketball, Argentina currently sits in first place on points with 4. Venezuela is second with 3 and Brazil is third with 2.



Last night, Argentina had a bit of difficult go against Brazil at times, and were not able to put them away until the fourth quarter despite the scoreline.  They outscored Brazil 28 – 20 in the first quarter.  They outscored Brazil in the second 20 – 17.  They out scored Brazil 25 – 20 in the third quarter.  They outscored Brazil 28 – 23.  The game finished 101 – 80.


In the third game, Argentina beat Venezuela 72 – 67.  It was the first time in Argentina’s history that they defeated Venezuela.  Both teams brought a level of intensity to the match, which saw several flagrant and technical fouls called. In the first two games game, Argentina beat Brazil 103 – 62, and Venezuela beat Brazil 116 – 63.
