This past week, members of the Azərbaycan Milli Paralimpiya Komitəsi inspected some of the venues that will be used at the upcoming European Games scheduled to get underway in Baku in 2015 to see how wheelchair accessible they are.

Venues inspected included the Crystal Hall, which will host volleyball, boxing, fencing, karate and Taekwondo. The organizers have promised that the Games will be accessible to all, and special tickets have been set aside for wheelchair users to purchase in order to watch the competition.

The European Games have a limited disability sport program, with only VI Judo included. Unlike the Americas or Asia, there is not scheduled to be a regional Paralympic event following it.
