Bendigo balloon ball team selected for Victoria state championship

Earlier today, an announcement was made that Joey Walsh, James Kerr, Matthew Rodda, Jye Yates, Jack Dexter, Michelle Smiley and Francis Bush have been selected to represent Bendigo at the upcoming Victoria state balloon ball championships.

Kerr plays for the Carlton Blues, and has been one of the scoring leaders in this season’s national league.  Walsh plays for the Magic and has been a key contributor for his team.  Yates is a member of the Western Bulldogs, who has had some really good games this season including one where he scored four goals.

 

The competition is scheduled to get underway on July 28 in Melbourne, Australia.
