German language blind football fansite Blindenfussball announced earlier today that their crowdfunding efforts to raise €15,000 (US$17,120 , AU$23,230) to film all 36 Blindenfußball-Bundesliga games this season, produce a web series discussing the matches and publish them on YouTube. Only 16 people contributed a total of €610 towards their efforts.

Blindenfussball is currently deep into reporting Blindenfußball-Bundesliga, with the first round having been completed earlier this month, and the second round scheduled to take place next week.  For this season, they’ve also created a free competition to predict winners in each game of the season.

The site is run out of Hannover by Sven Schwarze, Alexander Fangmann, Julitta Harms, Patrick Plattek and Johannes Schneider.  It has been around since at least 2012, and often has audio reports of many games.  They provide extensive coverage of German league play and the German national team.
