Brazil’s São Paulo amputee football league 2015 schedule announced

Earlier today on Facebook, Associação Brasileira de Deficientes Fisicos announced Brazil’s amputee football São Paulo based league 2015 schedule.



Each round is scheduled to take place in a different city, with five teams in the competition participating. The first round of competition starts on March 21, with the second round on April 11, the third on May 16, and the final round taking place on June 13. The finals are scheduled for Peruíbe on June 27. The teams are competing are Amda – Minas, Instituto Só Vida / Mogi Das Cruzes, Lauzane Paulista, Smel Mogi / Mogi Das Cruzes, and Peruíbe.


ANDEF – Niteroi won the championship last year are not from the region and compete elsewhere. Smel Mogi finished in second. Amda – Minas finished in third. Adfego Vila Nova, who likewise not from the region, finished fourth.


Coming into the season, the competition’s best players should have additional experience from their stint with the national team at the Amputee Football World Cup in Mexico where Brazil finished out of the medals.
