Brisbane selected as 2019 INAS Global Games host

Earlier today, INAS announced that Brisbane, Australia had been selected as the hosts of the 2019 INAS Global Games.



The announcement was made with 100 days until the start of the 2015 INAS World Games in Ecuador. The Brisbane INAS World Games will officially get underway on October 19, 2019, with over 1,000 athletes expected to take part.


The local organizer is AUSRAPID, who have good relationships with national and international sporting organizations. As part of their hosting the games, AUSRAPID is planning to leverage their leadership position by spending AU$50,000 (US$38,625, €34,435) to promote and fund the development of sport connected to the Global Games in the Oceania region.
