Chema Rodríguez and Ángel Ponce win Spanish BC3 pairs title

With the Spanish national boccia club championship having wrapped up in Mataró, Barcelona, Chema Rodríguez and Ángel Ponce have come away victorious in the BC3 pairs event while representing Adupace Jerez.  They won after beating the Catalan Boccia 360 pair that included Amal Tsouli, Aleix López and Wafid Boucherit.




The bronze medal in the BC3 pairs event was won by  the Amics de la Boccia team from Valencia that included Iván Alemany, Ana Fombuena and Josep Garriguez.  They beat the Fundación Ana Valdivia club which included Javier Matínez, Rafael Cacho and David Humanes to win.


The competition in the BC3 pair was deep, with twelve teams competing in it.  The eventual winners had to first get through a four large group stage to get to the elimination round.
