CP United FC wins England’s National Cerebral Palsy Football League National Cup

This past weekend, CP United FC came away winners in England’s National Cerebral Palsy Football League National Cup.  Chelsea won the South division, while United won the North division in the final round of the league play. At the national cup, CP United FC emerged victorious in the game to claim the National Cup.


The championship was open to any teams that had participated in the 2015/16 CP Sport National CP Football League, and took place at the Riverside Sports Complex in Nottingham.  Teams played in regular fixtures against other clubs in their zone, with the league culminating in the National Cup where teams in both zones got an opportunity to see each other play.

Two weeks ago at the FA Disability Cup,  Aspire won the powerchair competition, CP United won the CP football competition while Sporting Club Albion won the blind football competition.
