Egypt’s Minister of Youth and Sports Khaled Abdulaziz promises permanent home for NPC

Two Egyptian newspapers are reporting today that Egypt’s Minister of Youth and Sports Khaled Abdulaziz has promised the Egyptian Paralympic Committee a new and permanent home in the Cairo International Stadium. Their current address is at 8 El Mosikar Ali Ismail, Dokki – Cairo.

The announcement comes after Abdulaziz attended a meeting with the Paralympic committee’s board of directors at the ministries headwuarters.

Abdulaziz stated the importance of better supporting disability sport in the country, because a civilization’s success is measured by how well they treat people with physical and mental disabilities. He confirmed that all the sporting facilities of the ministry would be available for use by the Egyptian Paralympic Committee to run camps, and to hold continental and international tournaments.

Major General Mohammed Sabih was also in attendance. The Minister of Youth and Sports was encourage Sabih to bring back disability sports for the Police Sporting Federation.
