Equestrian New Zealand names Charlotte Hoonhout as para-equestrian volunteer of the month

Earlier today on Facebook, Equestrian New Zealand announced they had named Charlotte Hoonhout as para-equestrian volunteer of the month after she stepped and volunteered to be the secretary for the Para-Equestrian “Welcome to Dressage” fundraiser show.  Beyond that, she has also volunteered at winter shows.



Hoonhout herself is a para-equestrian Grade IB rider who riders Amarante, who has competed at several events inside New Zealand including the nationals.  Outside of sports, she is a student at the  University of Auckland where she is studying international business and information systems.


Elsewhere in New Zealand para-equestrian action, a rider is in action at the FEI World Equestrian Games. Riding on Doncartier,  Anthea Gunner-Dixon finished seventh in the Individual Results Grade II – Team Test. Gunner-Dixon is scheduled to compete in the individual test later today.
