European Powerchair Football Association announces European Club Championship

The European Powerchair Football Association has announce the date, location and teams invited to the European Club Championship.  It will be the fourth edition of this event.



The championship will take place later this year in Hou, Denmark from October 15 to 20.  France has qualified three teams for the competition.  The French teams expected to participate are Grafteaux and  Auch who were the French champion and vice champions, and Vaucresson who were the finalist in the Coupe de France.


This competition is one of the major events in powerchair football in 2016.  The next major international championship is not until 2017, and the FIPFA World Cup.  This event is scheduled to take place in  Kissimmee, Florida at Osceola Heritage Park from July 5 to 9.
