Finland, Great Britain, Germany win at FEDC International 2014‬

In afternoon play at yesterday’s Madrid, Spain hosted FEDC International 2014‬, Finland women’s team defeated Spain A 9 – 4,  Germany men’s team defeated Spain B 11 – 1,  Germany women’s team defeated Israel 9 – 5, Great Britain men’s team beat Greece 7 – 4, Finland women’s team defeated Spain 10 – 1, Germany’s men drew Spain A 3 – 3, Germany women’s team beat Spain A 9 – 4, with the last match of the day seeing Greece men’s team putting away Spain B team 12 – 2.


In morning play yesterday, Spain men’s A team defeated Greece 9 – 3. They are also reporting Germany’s women defeated Spain women’s B 10 – 0.  Germany’s men team defeated Great Britain 11 – 1.  Finland’s women lost to Israel 3 – 7.  Spain’s men B team lost 0 – 10 to Spain’s men A.

The competition is being organized by Federación Española de Deportes para Ciegos. Traditionally, it has been held in June but because of a date conflict with this year’s Espoo, Finland hosted world championships, it was pushed back to December.
