Ghana Paralympic committee have selected 23 Athletes for the 2015 All Africa games in Congo Brazzaville in September. Ghana for the first time will take part in more events at the Pan African multi-spot event. The selected Athletes will represent Ghana in Wheelchair, Blind Athletics Javelin, Discuss and Powerlifting. After holding series of trails in some part of the country, they saw the need to expand the team to enable them win more medals for Ghana. According to the President of the Ghana Paralympic Committee Cornelius Adja Cofie his outfit is working hard to develop other disability sports in the Ghana but funding has been the problem. Rapheal Botyso Nkegbe,Patrick Obeng and Felix Acheampong are some of the experienced Athletes who will be at the event with the rest ether making their first appearance or their second outing at the games. The rest of the Athletes representing Ghana at the event are Hatiz Iddi,Emmanuel Yaw Boateng,Gafar Hussein,Abubakari Yakubu,Maclean Dzidzienyo and Fredrick Assor others are Jacob Arthur Sam,Favor Ayiglo,Beaty Fiator,Peter Abiola,Charles Teye-Nar,Richard Okra,Vida Antwi,Emmanuel Abbang,Amadu Yussif,Suweiba Alhassan and Zinabu Issah concluding the list are Wasila Baba RosemaryAkorli and Godfred Opoku Kissi. The team and other able Athletes preparing for the games have started camping.
