The Brazilian wheelchair rugby teams Gladiadores Curitiba Quad Rugby and Titans Colombo Quad Rugby recently trained together ahead of Taça Cidade De Curitiba Quad Rugby scheduled for April in Curitiba, Brazil.
The teams trained together at the Ginásio da Polícia Militar in Paraná. Both sides had male and female players practicing.
The Gladiadores are one of the best club sides in Brazil. Six members of the team were called up for a recent national team training camp. These players included Moisés Batista, Gilson Wrizma Jr, José Raul Guenther, Helder Prado Jr, Anderson Kaiss and Rafael Hofmann. The Brazilian side is looking to do well at the upcoming 2015 Para Panamerican Games in Toronto, and hopefully be medal contenders at the 2016 Summer Paralympics played on home soil.
