Honduras men ready for semifinals in Central American Tournament of Goalball

Tomorrow, the Honduras men’s national goalball team is scheduled to play in the semifinals in Central American Tournament of Goalball.  Today, they are scheduled to play Costa Rica and Panama, and expect a better performance than yesterday when they lost to the team from El Salvador.



Yesterday, the Honduran women beat the team from El Salvador 10 – 9.  It was their first victory of the competition.  The women are scheduled to play Nicaragua and Guatemala today, where they are expected by their NPC to win both games.


The Central American Tournament of Goalball is taking place in Managua, Nicaragua, and is a qualifying tournament for next year’s Parapan American Games. It got underway on November 29 and wraps up on Saturday.
