Hosts Portugal qualify for Inas European Handball Championships final

Yesterday, Portugal’s men booked their place in the final of the  Inas European Handball Championships after beating France 27 – 17.



Group play finished yesterday with Portugal in the lead with 6 points, Poland in second with 4 points and France last with 2 points.


In the opening match of the competition, Portugal beat France 20 – 9. The second match of the competition saw Poland dispatch France 18 – 16.


Competition got underway on Tuesday. The inaugural competition is taking place in Fafe, Porutgal, and was organized by Associacão Nacional Desporto Deficiência Intelectual – Portugal.  It was originally scheduled to take place in December of last year, but the dates were later pushed back.
