IBSA Blind Football World Championships preview

With the IBSA Blind Football World Championships scheduled to get underway on Sunday in Japan, a quick preview of the teams. The teams competing included Japan, France, Paraguay, Morocco, Brazil, Turkey, China, Colombia, Spain, Argentina, South Korea and Germany.

The easy favorites to win it all coming into the competition include Brazil who have won the competition three times, two time World Champion Argentina, and 2012 Paralympic silver medalists France, 2012 Paralympic bronze medalists Spain.   If one of these four teams does not take it all, it will be a huge upset.  If we are in for a surprise, it would come from dark horse China or hosts Japan.

The competition starts with host Japan taking Paraguay on Sunday.
