Iran’s national 7-a-side has been at training camp this week at the Azadi Sport Complex ahead of the 2014 Para Asian Games scheduled to start in October in Incheon, South Korea. The training camp is scheduled to wrap up next Thursday.  This is the fourth preparation camp.

The current squad has seventeen players who have been drawn from provinces that include Kermanshah, Fars, Zanjan, Gilan, Tehran and Qazvin. The squad needs to be cut down to fourteen players ahead of the start of the Para Asian Games.  Four of the players at camp are new to the national team.

The team has been working out to improve their physical conditioning, getting a better understanding of strategy, improving ball possession skills.
