Iraqi disability sport administrator Mohammed Ali Al-Saeed dies

The Wesam Al Majed Club for Handicap Sport in Iraq announced on Facebook that Iraqi disability sport administrator Mohammed Ali Al-Saeed died today after a sudden and severe setback in his health.



Al-Saeed was on the board of the Wesam Al Majed Club for Handicap Sport, and a table tennis coach for some of the Iraqi players who competed last year’s Para Asian Games.  He was involved with the Iraqi Paralympic Committee.


The club offered its condolences, saying, “In the hearts of the belief in Allah,  he is mourned  by Wesam Al Majed Club for Handicap Sport as we feel his loss. The Paralympic sport administrator Doctor  Mohammed Ali Al-Saeed  passed away today after an acute and surprising health setback.  We ask the Almighty God to let the recently deceased rest in peace and that he live in paradise.  His family and friends wait with patience and fortitutde for the day they shall return to him.”
