Four of Evans’s goals came in the bronze medal match against Spain.  Evan’s goal scorer prowess was key in her team qualifying for the semi-finals, as she put in the goal that put the English ahead of Belgium after her team let in an early goal.  That game eventually finished 6 – 1, setting up the English to play against eventual silver medalists Germany.  In group play against Turkey, Evans scored three goals while teammate Emma Brown put in five and Zara Musker put in three in a game that finished 16 – 0.

On the men’s side, Ukraine finished the competition in first, while Russia was second and the Netherlands third.  On the women’s side, Russia finished first, Germany second and England third.
