Jorvik Warriors Powerchair Football Club gets new chairs ahead of Powerchair Football Festival

After sixteen months of hard work, yesterday two brand new Storm Sport powerchairs were delivered to Jorvik Warriors Powerchair Football Club.  The chairs cost around £4100 (€5300, US$5,850) each.


The chairs arrived just in time for the Powerchair Football Festival later today, and is part of efforts to promote their club’s regular sessions and the sport more generally in the region.

Jorvik Warriors, Wheelchair Wasps, East Riding-Electric Eels, PHAB  and Middlesbrough Powerchair Football Club are all scheduled to take part in the festival. Middlesbrough is taking players from their Blues, Jets and Reserves team to participate.
