Les Pandas de Montauban get second loss of season in wheelchair rugby league’s Championnat de France

This past weekend, Les Pandas de Montauban got their second loss of season in wheelchair rugby league’s Championnat de France, losing 56 – 28 to the Dragons Catalans.



Jean-Yves Ducos scored first for his team off a pass from captain Benoît Farges, and then Nicolas Lemaître added more points for his team.  After that, the team began to lose control of the game, and Dragons started scored and scoring some more as the Pandas lost their on court discipline. The two team’s are scheduled to play again on March 15 at home in Montauban.


The team’s first lost occurred in the first week of the season, when they lost to Saint-Jory at Saint-Jory by a score of 28 – 29.  They made up for that loss the following week when they beat Roanne at home 92 – 5.


The Les Pandas de Montauban roster includes Andréa Milagre, Marie-Pierre Vila, Jérôme Bonnet, Sébastien Caldéran, Maxime Chatain, Sébastien Cortezon, Yves Dubois, Jean-Yves Ducos, Benoît Farges, Nicolas Gisquet, Patrick Gorinat, Jean-Jacques Haas, Mario De Jesus, Anton Lechat, Nicolas Lemaitre, Philippe Naimi, Jean-Marc Palue, and Frédéric Virol. Ducos and Bonnet both played for the French team at the 2013 World Championships.
