Libyan Paralympic Committee’s Blind Sports Technical Committee meets

On Thursday, the Blind Sports Technical Committee for the Libyan Paralympic Committee met at the organization’s offices.


There were a number of issues on the agenda, including attempts to develop solutions for problems identified by the organization.  They have problems with procuring transport.  The Committee also worked on a plan for blind sport in Libya for 2015 that would be presented to the Executive Committee.

They also discussed the country’s performance at the October IBSA Powerlifting World & European Championships that were held in Turkey.  Libya sent a ten member strong delegation, and came away with four golds, two silvers and a bronze.


The President of the Libyan Paralympic Committee, Khaled Rguibi, attended the meeting.
