Lithuania’s Regionų Krepšinio Lygos announces tournament bracket for teams including Lietuvos Kurčiųjų Sporto Klubas

Yesterday, Lithuania’s Regionų Krepšinio Lygos announced the tournament brackets for the championship in the B division, of which Lietuvos Kurčiųjų Sporto Klubas, Lithuania’s deaf club basketball team, participates.  The team will meet Olimpas“Gargždų SC when the competition starts on February 28.

In the regular season, the team finished eighth out of nine teams in the A division, with a record of 3 wins and 13 losses.  They only beat out Jonavos SK who had 2 wins and 14 losses.

 

 

Lietuvos Kurčiųjų Sporto Klubas was founded in 1990.  They train at Lietuvos Edukologijos Universitetas in Vilnius.  Their roster includes Laurynas Sankauskas, Arvydas Bareikis, Gediminas Žukas, Sarunas Siukscius, Arunas Kubilius, Algirdas Pazdrazdis, Paul Sapnovas, Vitaly Zapolskas, Robert Puzinas, Lukas Laurinaitis, Lukas Pečiulis, Justin Navlickas, Carol Birieta, Mantvydas Vaičiulis, Martin Vainius, Edwin Kriūno, Andrej Zenevičiaus, and Lukas Gužauskas.
