T11 is a class for athletes with the most severe vision impairment. Blind sports classification has pretty much been in the same place class-wise since the 1980s.  Women’s participation in blind sports lags men across the board and the number of events for women tends to much smaller.

The number of available world records here is two or less for every event I can find.  World record holders from this class include Terezinha Guilhermina, Tracey Hinton, Jin Zheng, Louzanne Coetzee, Joke Rijswijk, Vera Kroes, Silvania Costa de Oliveira, Annalisa Minetti, Pavla Valnickova, Reiko Aotake, and Sigita Markeviciene.  The Netherland’s Rijswijk and Kroes jointly hold the world record in the high jump at 1.45m.  This record goes back to 1986 for Rijswijk and 1988 for Kroes. The Czech Republic’s Valnickova has the next oldest record, dating back to 1992 for the 3,000 m event.  Japan’s Aotake has the next oldest record with her marathon time which is from 1996.
