Madrid announces squad selected for Spanish national wheelchair basketball championships

With the Spanish national wheelchair basketball championships officially scheduled to get underway on Saturday in San Agustín del Guadalix, earlier today Federación Madrileña de Deportes de Discapacitados Físicos announced the players selected to represent Madrid.



The roster includes three 1 point players, Lucía Soria, Fran Lara and 1.5 point player Angel Silvela.  It includes two 2 point players, Javier Gómez and Daniel Serapio.  It includes four 3 point players, Carlos Vera, Juan Carlos García, Antonio Hernández and David Serrano.  It includes two 4 points players, Juan Carlos Gavira and Fernando Cantero.  It also includes 4.5 point player Carlos Medina.


Most of the roster includes players who have competed at the highest domestic level in Spain.  This includes Medina, Vera, Serapio, Gavira
