Malacca Deaf Football Club arrive in Gong Badak for Perlawanan Kejohanan Bola Sepak Orang Pekak Malaysia

The Malacca Deaf Football Club arrived in Gong Badak yesterday for Perlawanan Kejohanan Bola Sepak Orang Pekak Malaysia, and met Terengganu in their competition opener in a match played earlier tonight.


The team is in Group A with Terengganu and Kuala Lumpur.  There are two other groups.  Group B includes Kelantan, Perak and Selangor.  Group C includes Sabah, Pahang and Kedah.  The competition is scheduled to wrap up on March 30.

Malacca is stacked with talent.  Three members of the team, Henry Ong, Muhammad Ilyas bin Abdullah and Mohamad Hairee bin Aris, have represented Malaysia as members of the Malaysia men’s national deaf football team.
