Earlier today, UW-Whitewater Wheelchair Athletics announced that Mark Krenz had committed to play for the school in next year’s collegiate wheelchair basketball season. This followed Friday’s announcement that John Michael Schwartz would be joining the team.

Shwartz played for the Fort Wayne ‘TurnStone’ Flyers, with the junior team currently ranked tenth in the nation ahead of the upcoming national championships in April.

Krenz was on campus last week when he officially made his decision. The trip was only a few days after competing at the NWBA’s Midwest Conference Championships 10′ Division.  His Milwaukee Heat‎ took home first place at the tournament after beating Grand Rapids Jr. Pacers and Krenz was named the event’s Male MVP.
