Midlands United Powerchair Football Club wins pair of games in AIPF League

This weekend, Midlands United Powerchair Football Club won a pair of games in Ireland’s AIPF League.  They beat the Kingdom Rebels 7 – 0, and Meath & Fingal United 2 – 0 in games played at the Shannon Leisure Centre.  This brings the team’s record to 6 – 1 – 1 for the reason.



Midlands United’s pair of victories today is not surprising, as they met the Kingdom Rebels in the previous round on March 7, winning 11 – 0.  Their other game that round, they drew 2 – 2 with the DCU Storm.


In the second round of the competition in early January in Gormanston, the beat the Belfast Trailblazers 3 – 1, and lost 0 – 4 to the DCU Storm.  Midlands went undefeated in their two games in the first round in November of last year, beating Meath & Fingal United 8 – 1, and the Kingdom Rebels 6 – 0.
