Mizzou Wheelchair Basketball loses to Whitewater and beats Southwest Minnesota State University

The University of Missouri men’s wheelchair basketball team is in Southwest Minnesota State University this weekend to play four games, winning one against Southwest Minnesota State University, losing one to University of Wisconsin Whitewater and having two games left to go.



The team lost to Whitewater by a score of 47 – 60 after being down 20 – 28 at halftime. They defeated  Southwest Minnesota State University 64 – 34 following a much closer halftime score of 31 – 24.


The team plays later today against hosts Southwest Minnesota State University again at 12:00 PM local time, with a quick turn around that seems them playing Minnesota Timberwolves (White) at 1:30 PM local time.


The University of Missouri roster includes Carter Arey, James Bohnett, Matt Bollig, Marcus Brockman, Joe Dixon, Trevor Hoffman, Marshall Lindsay, Ethan Linsky, Zane Lucas, Ben Mayforth, James Mccormick, Taylor Moore, Joe Underwood, Truman Walker, and  Kyle Whitney. Arey is a member of the United States men’s national wheelchair basketball team, making the cut after the roster was cut down earlier this month.
