Round two of New Zealand’s Northern League wheelchair basket finished earlier today at the Rotorua Sportsdrome in Rotorua.



Waikato Senior defeated Auckland A 60 – 43, after leading most of the game,  including 24 – 17 at the end of the half and 42-31 at the end of the third. Waikato’s Brendan Mes scored for his team in the game. James Daniels was on the floor for the Auckland A team. Earlier in the day, Waikato Senior defeated Bay of Plenty 69 – 27. Auckland Development defeated Waikto Development 24 – 18.



The third round of the league is scheduled to be played at Trust Stadium in Auckland on August 9th, with the fourth round scheduled for August 23 in Waikato. The New Zealand national championships are scheduled for Trust Stadium on September 20 and 21.
