The standings for the 2nd Division of Great Britain’s wheelchair rugby BT Super Series were updated earlier today, and the North East Bulls find themselves on top of the leader board with 28 points, 2 more than Team Solent Sharks who sit in second. Ospreys Wheelchair Rugby are in third, West Country Hawks are in fourth, Caledonian Crushers are in fifth, and Hammerheads now sit at the bottom of the division.
Fifteen total games were played in the second round. First place Bulls beat the Sharks 55 – 32, beat the Ospreys 52 – 41, crushed the Hammerheads 63 – 17, beat the Hawks 50 – 28, and had a close but still came out on top 32 – 26 against the Bulls.
In the second of three round of competition, Ciaren Pryce was named Best in Class 0.5, Ieuan Coombes was named Best in Class 1.0, Luke Twizell was named Best in Class 1.5, Jonny Collingwood was named Best in Class 2.0, Patrick Asher-Relf was named Best in Class 2.5, Canterbury player Ollie Mangion was named Best in Class 3.0 – 3.5 , and Mick O’Hanlon was named MVP.
With the 3rd Division rankings also having been updated, Gloucester with 12 points currently lead Canterbury by 4 points. Woodbridge Wheeled Warriors sits in last place with 4 points.
