Norway national sledge hockey team in camp again ahead of 2015 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships

The Norwegian men’s national sledge hockey team starts a four-day training camp today in Skien ahead of the April 2015 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships.



The camp is scheduled to include a pair of friendlies against the Germans, who will be in the other group at the World Championships.  The first is scheduled for Saturday at 3:30 PM local time, and the second is for 8:00 PM local time on Sunday. The camp has several focuses, including special teams, killing power plays, working on formations from the team playbook, improving individual and team play.


Players at camp include Johan Grønlie, Kjell Christian Hamar, Thommas Avdal, Eskil Hagen, Thomas Jacobsen, Jan Roger Klakegg, Knut André Nordstoga,  Morten Værnes, Audun Bakke, Magnus Bøgle, Martin Hamre, Emil Kirstistuen, Rolf Einar Pedersen, Tor Rivera, Loyd Remi Solberg, Stig Tore Svee, and  Emil Sørheim. The team draws from a number of clubs including Rosenborg KHK, Oslo KHK, Kråkene KHK, and Bergen KHK.
