Parkwood International hosts ParaGolfer clinic

Tomorrow, Parkwood International in Parkwood, Queensland is scheduled to host a para golf clinic.  The clinic being offered free of charge to all golfers who pre-registered for the clinic.

The clinic runs from 3:00 to 5:00 PM local time, with golfers being provide adaptive equipment to use during the clinic.  This session follows one last month and is part of a series of regularly scheduled free monthly paragolf clinics.  Future ones will take place the first Friday of every month from 3:00 to 5:00 PM local time. Parkwood International also has permanent adaptive equipment onsite that golfers can rent to use while on the course during other times of the month.

The clinics are being supported by Empower Golf Queensland and Empower Golf Australia.  The organizations goals are to encourage more courses to be accessible to golfers of all abilities, Organise development days, coaching and tournaments, and in the long-term seek to have golf included on the Paralympic program.
