Phase II Brazilian men’s goalball team national camp scheduled to get underway tomorrow

Tomorrow, Phase II of Brazilian men’s national goalball team 2016 Summer Paralympic Games preparations begin Jundiaí, São Paulo with a ten-day national team training camp that concludes on March 21.


Players scheduled to be at camp include Alex Melo Sousa, Alexsander Almeida Maciel Celente, Emerson Ernesto da Silva, Jose Roberto Ferreira de Oliveira, Josemarcio da Silva Sousa, Leomon Moreno da Silva, Luciano de Souza Batista, Paulo Rubens Ferreira, and Romário Diego Marques.

Also at the camp will be performance analyst Altemir Trapp, technical assistant Diego Gonçalves Colletes, nutritionist Mirtes Stancanello, coordinator Paulo Sérgio de Miranda, physiotherapist Rafael Loschi da Silva and team physician Thatiana Carolina Schulze Goni.

Funding for the national team and this camp comes primarily through two major sources, CAIXA Loterias and Brazil’s Ministry of Sport.
