Poland defeats United States 3 – 1 at 2014 Amputee Football World Cup

Yesterday in Mexico at the 2014 Amputee Football World Cup, Poland men’s national amputee football team defeated the United States 3 – 1 to qualify for the quarterfinals, where they will play Argentina who defeated Mexico 3 – 0.  Goals were scored for the Polish side by Bartosz Łastowski in the 5th  minute, Mateusz Kabała  in the 31st minute, and Kamil Rosiek in the 43rd minute.



Kabała  has been the star for the Polish side this competition, scoring five goals through the 1/8ths final. In addition to his goal in the game against the United States, he had two assists. These goals bring his national team career goals to 15 with 11 assists.


The Polish roster includes  Kuba Jasiulewicz, Przemek Świercz, Mateusz Kabała, Tomazs Miś, Kamil Rosiek, Bartosz Łastowski, Marcin Guszkiewicz, Mateusz Sadłowski, Rafał Bieńkowski  and Dawid Dobkowski.
