Raman Salei and Dmitriy Salei prepared for IPC European Swimming Championships

With the IPC European Swimming Championships getting underway on Saturday, Azerbaija’s Raman Salei and Dmitriy Salei are both prepared for the competition and their preparations efforts for the Rio Games.

The duo are scheduled to depart for Funchal, Portugal tomorrow, two days ahead of the competition.  They have already met the qualifying standards for the 2016 Summer Paralympics.

Raman  Salei has some experience swimming internationally, having taken part in last year’s IPC Swimming World Championships in Glasgow in the men’s 200m individual medley SM13, men’s 100m Butterfly S13 and claiming gold in the men’s 50m freestyle S12 event.  At the same event, Dmitriy Salei won silver in the men’s 100m breaststroke SB12.
