Yesterday, the German wheelchair basketball club RBB München Iguanas held their first tryout for beginners of the game.

The event was organized by Benjamin Ryklin and Peter Kleinhans.  Following the tryout, Kleinhans  was quoted by the organization as saying, “We were very excited about the very sports-minded newcomers in the Turbo mode and tried to provide fun in playing our sport”.

The team plays in the second division in Germany in the Bundesliga Süd division, finishing sixth in the 2014/2015 season.  Both men and women play on the same team, and national team player Laura Fürst is a member of the squad.
