Rhyl Raptors Wheelchair Basketball Club top Lothian Phoenix in Britain’s third division

The Rhyl Raptors Wheelchair Basketball Club pulled off a 33 – 31 victory earlier against Lothian Phoenix in Britain’s NL Third Division after coming back from a 9 – 16 halftime deficit.
Coming into the round, Lothian Phoenix 2 was sixth in the Division 3 North West while the Raptors were seventh and last. The victory gives them a two game lead over the Raptors. Depending on the results of the Liverpool Greenbank 1 – Lancaster Bulldogs game, the team could potentially have moved into fifth place.

The Raptors next game is next Sunday against the undefeated Lancaster Bulldogs.
