In their second game, they drew 1 – 1 against Germany. In their last game, they drew 0 – 0 against South Korea in a game that went to penalty kicks as both teams tied on points to advance to the quarterfinals.
Depending on the outcome of the game in progress, Spain will play either play Argentina or Colombia in the semifinals on Sunday.
