With a regional alpine ski race scheduled to take place on Wednesday, Special Olympics Hungary is advising participants to keep an eye on the weather as it is unpredictable at this time of year.  This can impact the competition because of ski conditions related to snow volume and quality.

In less than two weeks, on January 14, the M4 – Az Év Sportolója Gálán will take place.  This event is a celebration of the best disability sport in Hungary during 2015.  Organized jointly by Magyar Paralimpiai Bizottság (English: Hungarian Paralympic Committee),  Magyar Hallássérültek Sportszövetsége (English: Hungarian Deaf Sports Association), Magyar Speciális Olimpia Szövetség (English: Special Olympics Hungary), and Magyar Szervátültetettek Szövetsége (English: Hungarian Transplant Association), the awards recognize the best disability sportspeople in the country.

Special Olympics Hungary has other events coming up on its schedule, including the start of bowling this year.  It officially gets underway in Szolnok next Saturday.
