Sportability Central Region trying to win money from Aviva Community Fund

Today, Sportability is promoting their efforts to win a grant Aviva Community Fund in order to ” to provide and develop sport for people with paralysis in the Beds/Herts/ Bucks/Northants region.”



If they get funding, the money will go towards a building  on a pilot programs that was so successful that their events were over inscribed.  The pilot program events including sailing, quadbiking, clay pigeon shooting, microlight flying, wheelchair tennis and indoor skydiving at various locations throughout the region.


According to British insurance company Avia, “The Aviva Community Fund will finance over 362 entries across four different fund levels and four categories, spreading our awards to communities throughout the UK.”  Members of the public, Avia employees, and friends and family of organizations are eligible to vote on which projects get funded.
