Sweden ranks tenth all time in total Paralympic medals. While you may not expect Swedish to come in handy, you may see the flag often enough that having a few words might come in handy. The language has 9.2 million speaks, most of them in Sweden and Finland. The few words you pick up will come in handy with Norwegian and Danish speakers as the languages are mutually intelligible.

Badminton specific words:
Like Taekwondo, this sport is not on the 2016 Paralympic program but is scheduled to make its debut at the 2020 Games. It is never too early to get the low down on this upcoming sport.
