Members of the United States women’s national goalball team wrapped up an elite skills training camp this weekend at the Washington State School for the Blind.

The event was hosted by Rose City Goalball. Jen Armbruster, Shelley Richards Palmadessa, Alexia J Cook, Madelyn Stafford, Brittany A. Richardson, Tasha Everett, Eliana Mason and Marybai Huking were all players at the camp. The camp was not too vigorous as players did not need to do the perfect game drill

Both the men and women’s national teams have already qualified for the 2016 Summer Paralympics following their success at the IBSA Goalball World Championships held earlier this year.  The women’s team performance was a bit of a surprise as they came into the tournament ranked fifth in the world.
