The Polish Amputee Football Association is organizing a special fan zone amputee football match as they prepare to play at the Castle Square in Warsaw.The final of the UEFA Europa league will be in Warsaw and the Association is using the opportunity to play a match to showcase amputee football.Poland lost 0-1 to Turkey to place fourth at the last Amputee World Cup in Mexico last year after their second appearance.
According to the organizers there will be a large screen at the Castle Square in Warsaw to beam the UEFA Europa league final between FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk and Sevilla FC ahead of the UEFA Europa League final tomorrow Wednesday May 27 and there will be other side attractions.
This is an initiative and cooperation between UEFA and the European Amputee Federation EAFF to develop the game.
UEFA is also helping EAFF to organize a similar match where teams from Spain and Russia will play in Berlin on June 6 to exhibit the game before the final of the UEFA Champions league.
