Uganda Deaf Football Association announces draw for 2015 UDFA National Deaf Challenge Cup

Earlier today on Facebook, the Uganda Deaf Football Association announced draw for 2015 UDFA National Deaf Challenge Cup.  Being held from Entebbe Play Ground, will run from  May 7 to 9 and feature ten teams.



The opening day of play will see Entebbe Deaf Football Club go up against Tiger Deaf Football Club-A,  Sun City Deaf Football Club play Lira Stars Deaf Football Club-B, Etop Deaf Football Club compete against Kampala Deaf Union-A, Bright Stars Deaf Football Club play  Super Deaf Football Club-B,  Oyam Deaf Football Club meet Entebbe Deaf Football Club – A,  Black Stars DFC play Sun City DFC- B,  Tiger DFC take on Etop DFC -A,  Lira Star DFC play Bright Stars DFC -B,   Kampala DU FC match up against Oyam DFC -A,  and Super DFC play Black Stars DFC -B.  The second day of competition starts with Etop DFC play Entebbe DFC -A,  Bright stars DFC playing Sun City DFC -B on a 9:30 AM local start.  Play continues later in the day with   Kampala DU FC matching up against Tiger DFC -A,   Super DFC playing Lira Stars DFC -B, Oyam DFC going against Etop DFC -A,  Black Stars DFC playing Bright Stars DFC -B,  Entebbe DFC matching up with Kampala DU FC -A, and Sun City DFC playing Super DFC -B.  The last games in group play kick off at 3:30 PM local time, with  Tiger DFC going up against Oyam DFC -A, and Lira stars DFC playing Black stars DFC -B.


The event will be in its third edition.  The first edition was held in 2013 in Lira, and was won by the Lira Deaf Stars.  The second edition was held in Sun City Deaf Football Club.
